Ingredients
Peaches
- 2 medium ripe peaches, halved and pitted
Butter Mixture
- 2 Tbsp butter, room temperature
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla bean paste
- Pinch of salt
Toppings and Serving
- Granola or chopped toasted pecans (for topping)
- Vanilla Greek yogurt (for serving)
Instructions
- Prep the peaches: Wash and dry the peaches thoroughly, then cut each peach in half and carefully remove the pits.
- Add to air fryer: Place the peach halves cut side down into a paper liner fitted inside the air fryer basket to prevent sticking and facilitate easy cleanup.
- Air fry the peaches: Cook the peaches in the air fryer at 350℉ for 5 minutes to start softening them gently.
- Combine the butter mixture: While peaches are air frying, mix together the room temperature butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla bean paste, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl until well combined.
- Top peaches with butter mixture: Carefully flip the peaches cut side up and evenly spread the butter-sugar-cinnamon mixture over each peach half.
- Finish air frying: Return the peaches to the air fryer and cook for an additional 7 to 10 minutes at 350℉, until peaches are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Garnish and serve: Remove peaches from the air fryer, top with granola or chopped toasted pecans for added texture, and serve warm with a dollop of vanilla Greek yogurt or ice cream for a creamy contrast.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and tenderness.
- Adjust air frying time based on your air fryer model and peach size.
- Substitute brown sugar with coconut sugar for a lower glycemic option.
- Vanilla bean paste can be replaced with vanilla extract if unavailable.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the warm, melty texture and flavors.
