Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 small red or green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 medium red or yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen chopped broccoli
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (12.5-ounce) block tofu, cubed
- 1/3 cup store-bought teriyaki sauce or your favorite stir fry sauce
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu and sauté until lightly golden on each side.
- Add bell pepper, onion, broccoli, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour teriyaki sauce evenly over the tofu and vegetables.
- Continue cooking on medium-high heat until the sauce is absorbed, flipping the tofu to coat evenly.
Notes
- You can use fresh broccoli, but steam it first before adding.
- Save time by using pre-chopped stir-fry vegetable packs.
- Slice vegetables evenly for even cooking.
- If you prefer softer vegetables, cook them longer with a splash of water.
- Tweak store-bought teriyaki sauce with ingredients like pineapple juice, maple syrup, tamari, or rice vinegar to suit your taste.
