Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lb) potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic granules
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Cut the potatoes into 1cm (approximately ½ inch) chip shapes. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chips in a single layer.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the chips, then sprinkle with garlic granules, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Toss the potatoes until they’re evenly coated in the oil and seasoning.
- Bake for 45 minutes, flipping the chips halfway through. Continue baking for another 10-15 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of crispiness.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can soak the potato chips in cold water for 30 minutes before baking and then pat them dry.
- Feel free to experiment with other seasonings like paprika, rosemary, or chili powder to customize the flavor.
- Store any leftover chips in an airtight container for up to 2 days, though they’re best enjoyed fresh.
