Ingredients
- 1 block cream cheese
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 15 ounces artichoke hearts, chopped and drained
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
- ¾ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1 loaf French bread
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, softened butter, mayonnaise, minced garlic, drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the spinach and artichoke mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
- Place the bread on a foil-lined or greased baking sheet for easy cleanup.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned on top.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Make sure spinach is fully thawed and squeezed dry to avoid excess moisture in the mixture.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a sprinkle of garlic powder.
- This recipe can be made ahead—assemble and refrigerate, then bake when ready to serve.
- Great as an appetizer, side dish, or game-day snack.
