This Homemade Coffee Creamer is a quick and easy 3-ingredient recipe that’s customizable and free from preservatives or additives. With a rich, creamy texture and the ability to tailor flavors, it’s the perfect alternative to store-bought creamers.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 52 servings (1 Tbsp per serving)

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups Half & Half (or equal parts milk and heavy cream)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (adjust to desired sweetness)
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add the Half & Half, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract to a quart-sized mason jar or mixing bowl.
  2. Seal the jar and shake vigorously, or whisk until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or until the earliest expiration date on your dairy ingredients.

Notes

  • Store in the back of the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, or until the ‘sell by’ date of the Half & Half or milk used.
  • For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free milk (oat, almond, coconut) and a dairy-free sweetened condensed milk or 1 Tbsp of sweetener like honey or maple syrup.
  • Customize flavor by swapping vanilla extract with peppermint, hazelnut, almond, or other flavored extracts.
  • To reduce calories, use lower-fat milk instead of Half & Half.
