Ingredients
- For the Fish:
- 2 (6 oz) Mahi Mahi fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)
- For Garnish (Optional):
- Fresh chopped parsley
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Prepare the Fish: Place the Mahi Mahi fillets on a sheet tray and brush all sides with olive oil. Set aside.
- Make the Seasoning: In a small bowl, stir together the kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning over the top and sides of the fish fillets, rubbing it in evenly.
- Prepare the Grill: Preheat the grill over medium-high heat and oil the grates.
- Grill the Fish: Once the grill is hot, place the Mahi Mahi fillets flesh side down. Grill for 3-5 minutes per side until the fish reaches your desired doneness. Try to flip it only once to avoid breaking up the fish. For well-done fish, the internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Finish and Serve: Immediately brush the tops of the fish with the melted butter. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a drizzle of garlic butter or a squeeze of lime juice on top of the fish before serving.
- If you prefer, you can use a grill pan for indoor grilling.
- Serve this grilled Mahi Mahi with a side of rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
