Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons chicken broth
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (about 8–10 stems)
- 8–10 basil leaves
- 3 sage leaves
- 1 sprig thyme
- ½ sprig rosemary (needles only)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Place chicken in a covered dish or resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over it.
- Coat chicken evenly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill until cooked through and golden brown.
Notes
- Use this marinade for chicken breasts, thighs, or drumsticks.
- For extra flavor, reserve a few tablespoons of marinade (before adding chicken) to brush on during grilling.
- Marinade can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Pairs well with grilled vegetables, salads, or rice.
