Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup buttermilk (more as needed)
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo (more to taste)
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust consistency by adding 1–2 tablespoons more buttermilk at a time, if desired.
- Transfer to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add an extra chipotle pepper or more adobo sauce.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream, or use all mayo if preferred.
- This dressing thickens and intensifies in spice as it sits.
