- 4 ounces butter
- 4 ounces dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cups Rice Krispie cereal
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt together the butter, dark brown sugar, and honey over medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often, and cook for 5 minutes while keeping a close eye on it.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispie cereal until fully combined and coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking dish, or scoop into mini muffin cups for individual treats.
- Allow the treats to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.
- Serve and enjoy!
