Ingredients
For the Buffalo Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
For the Wraps:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup Blue cheese or Ranch dressing
- 2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Slice Chicken: Slice the chicken breasts into several long, thin strips to ensure even cooking and easy wrapping.
- Marinate Chicken: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Frank’s Hot Sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Add the chicken strips to the marinade and coat well. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
- Cook Chicken: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook until they are no longer pink and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Tortillas: While the chicken cooks, lay the flour tortillas flat on a plate. Spread a thin layer of blue cheese or ranch dressing evenly over each tortilla.
- Assemble Wraps: Layer chopped romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese onto the tortillas over the dressing. Then arrange a few cooked chicken strips down the center of each tortilla.
- Wrap and Serve: Fold the sides of each tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly like a burrito to secure the ingredients. Serve immediately with extra hot sauce or dressing on the side if desired. Enjoy your delicious buffalo chicken wrap!
