This Baked Shrimp is buttery, garlicky, and incredibly fast to prepare—ready in just 20 minutes! Perfect on its own or served over rice or pasta, this versatile dish makes a flavorful and elegant weeknight dinner or appetizer.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw, peeled, and deveined medium to large shrimp
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh minced parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place shrimp in a baking dish. Pour garlic butter over shrimp and gently toss to coat evenly.
  4. Bake for 8–15 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Cooking time may vary depending on shrimp size.
  5. Garnish with minced parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve over pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter.
  • Don’t overcook shrimp—they turn rubbery when overdone.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
