Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese (at room temperature)
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 8 ounces feta cheese
- 10 ounces frozen spinach (1 package, thawed and drained)
To Serve
- Pita chips
- Baguette slices
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
- Mix Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Add Feta Cheese: Crumble the feta cheese into the bowl and mix it in thoroughly to integrate the salty tangy flavor with the creamy base.
- Incorporate Spinach: Add the thawed and fully drained spinach to the mixture; stir until the spinach is evenly distributed throughout the dip.
- Transfer and Smooth: Spoon the dip mixture into a 9-inch baking dish and use a spatula to smooth the surface evenly.
- Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
- Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with pita chips or slices of baguette for dipping.
Notes
- Ensure the frozen spinach is fully thawed and thoroughly drained to avoid excess moisture in the dip.
- This dip can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving for convenience.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheated before serving.
