Ingredients
Sauce Base
- 1/2 cup vegan mayo
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- salt, pepper to taste
Vegetables
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon vegan butter
Herbs
- 1/4 cup mixed herbs (dill, parsley, chives)
Instructions
- Sauté Onions: Heat the vegan butter in a pan or small casserole dish over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and fry them for about 2 minutes until they become soft and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Blend Sauce: In a food processor or blender, combine the Buffalo sauce, vegan mayo, mustard, and the sautéed onions. Season with salt and pepper and blend everything until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add Herbs: Finally, stir in the chopped fresh herbs (dill, parsley, and chives) to add freshness and flavor to the sauce. Mix well and serve or refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce to control the spice level to your preference.
- This sauce works great as a dip for veggies, a spread on sandwiches, or a drizzle over salads.
- You can substitute vegan butter with olive oil if preferred.
