Ingredients
- 2 medium boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 8 oz each)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Use a meat mallet, rolling pin, or heavy pot to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for even cooking.
- Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with olive oil.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place the chicken breasts smooth-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 6 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes, loosely covered with foil, before slicing and serving.
Notes
- If using larger chicken breasts, consider halving them to ensure even and faster cooking.
- Great for meal prep—store cooked chicken in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- Delicious sliced over salads, in wraps, or with your favorite side dish.
