Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 8–10 slices American cheese
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 16 egg roll wrappers
- 2 tablespoons oil or cooking spray
- Yum Yum Sauce or store-bought (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onions and chopped dill pickles until the meat is browned. Break it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and remove from heat.
- On a clean surface, place one egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Wet the corners with water.
- Place half a slice of American cheese and about 1/4 cup of the beef filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the side corners, then roll tightly toward the top corner. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking. Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer.
- Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and let cool for 2–3 minutes. Serve with Yum Yum sauce or your favorite dip.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid splitting during cooking.
- For extra crispy texture, lightly brush the egg rolls with oil before air frying.
- These are great for meal prep — assemble and freeze before air frying for later use.
- Try using cheddar or pepper jack cheese for a flavor variation.
